The Artist within has been trying to fight its way out for many years and at last I've found a substance of addiction which allows me to express myself.

I can partly blame Cheryle for my addiction as I first met Cheryle at one of her workshops and I can highly recommend them to anyone who wants to try this wonderful art medium.

I simply adore Polymer Clay and the endless possibilites it provides.  I work from home in Mooloolaba Queensland on the Sunshine Coast of Australia.

 About My Creations

I love to use second hand objects or other treasures destined for the recycling bin to create my pieces.

Applying polymer clay and other media to my 3 dimensional canvases creates functional art.  Functional art is art that serves a purpose and to that end my pieces either provide a  practical use and/ or they are creations that evoke an emotional response.  There have been countless hours spent trolling second hand stores for bottles, vases, boxes, photo frames, tins etc in order for me to give them new life.  There is also the never ending supply of vessels that routinely get put into the recycling bin but they have to go past me first to see what I can salvage.

On one of my many expeditions to the local second hand stores I found an assortment of 3 sided jars originally meant for spaghetti and noodles I think.  Now they make attractive one off vases.  This one just naturally seemed to develop into an Egyptian theme.
